TRAINER CARDS
Monsters aren't the only cards in your deck. You also have Trainer Cards! You are the Trainer, and these cards are the special tools you bring in your backpack to help your team win.
There are two main types of Trainer cards you should know:
🎒 Item Cards
Item cards are tools you can use fast! You can play as many Item cards as you want during your turn. Some Items let you draw more cards, and some Items heal your monsters so they get their HP back!
🌟 Supporter Cards
Supporter cards are pictures of your friends and other characters who come to cheer you on. They are very, very powerful. Because they are so strong, you can only play ONE Supporter card per turn.
Before you play a Trainer card, read the words slowly. Does it say "You may"? That means you get to choose. Does it say you have to discard something? Stop and check you have the right cards to pay the cost. Building a pause-and-read habit now saves huge headaches later.
Stadium cards, Special Energy, and other surprises will appear as your collection grows. When a card looks different, treat it like a treasure hunt: find the category printed on it and ask a coach what makes it special.
