Modern Ultra Rare cards (Full Arts, Secret Rares) have distinctive ridges and fingerprint-like textures. Counterfeits are almost always completely smooth and glossy across the entire surface.

PRO TIP

Close your eyes. If it feels like standard playing card stock, it might be fake.
